Brett Baker, Investment Analyst
Investment Management Certificate, DipPFS, Singapore College of Insurance Diploma
With 20 years' experience in financial services, Brett has been with PFM for over a decade, working as a paraplanner to Trevor and as Head of the Investment Process Committee. His expertise in investments is integral to the success of PFM.
In his spare time Brett enjoys running, cycling, home-brewing and playing golf.
Trevor Jackson, Director and Founder
Chartered Financial Planner, FPFS
Trevor founded PFM in 1999 and oversees the continued growth of PFM, as well as advising a long-standing client base of high net worth individuals and their families. He is also responsible for several corporate accounts, where PFM provide employee benefit solutions. He has thirty-three years of financial experience and has worked through some dramatic times starting with the October '87 market crash and 1992 Black Wednesday with 15% interest rates! He is passionate about the benefits of financial planning, ensuring that PFM clients receive the highest quality of advice and service.
Outside of work Trevor is married with four children and a keen sportsman, having represented Great Britain at Masters level in men's hockey.
Louise Grant, Executive Assistant
Louise has twenty-four years' experience in financial services, having worked at Prudential, Standard Life and Jelf Group before joining PFM, where she supports Trevor and heads the Administration team. Her support and hard work over her fifteen years at PFM have made her invaluable.

Stephen Ford, Independent Financial Adviser
Advanced DipPFS, Cert SMP, MBA,
Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment
Stephen, our resident Aussie, works at PFM as a financial adviser and is also responsible for Business Strategy and Development. He is currently working towards Chartered status, having completed the required examinations. Stephen moved into financial planning after a career at Director level in strategy, marketing, and commercial finance. He was previously Head of UK Financial Planning at a specialist international financial planning services firm. His interests lie in expatriate financial planning, tax planning, lifestyle financial planning and coaching mainly Senior Executives. He also has a PhD in Sport Psychology.
Away from work, Stephen’s passion is coaching a high standard netball team. He also likes mountain biking, particularly downhill for the adrenalin rush! He is married with two independent children, both completing engineering degrees at the Dyson Institute.

Sanjeev Kurl, Paraplanner
DipFA
Sanjeev previously worked as a relationship manager in a leading international bank before joining PFM as a paraplanner to Gerry. He has over a decade of experience in the professional services industry.
Outside the office, Sanjeev enjoys watching sports, travel, eating out at restaurants, comedy and music.

Gerry Twardzik, Financial Planning Director
Chartered Financial Planner, Chartered MSCI, DipPFS
Gerry's three decades in financial services and decade at PFM has given him extensive experience in providing financial planning advice to high net worth individuals and their families, entrepreneurs, senior executives, the professional self-employed and lottery winners. Prior to joining PFM, Gerry headed Financial Planning departments at accountancy firms Grant Thornton and Ernst & Young. He specialises in looking after the wealth of multi-generational families.
Outside work, Gerry is a keen rugby fan, having played at County level, and is now involved in a more leisurely capacity at his local club. He is also a keen cyclist - it is easier on the knees - and has completed a number of cycling challenges including Lands End to John O’Groats and London to Paris. Gerry is married with two children.

Yvonne Howell, Administrator
Bsc Hons
Working as an administrator for Gerry, Yvonne administers all client portfolios, updates client valuations, prepares review packs, trades on the platform and completes day-to-day administration. She has twenty-three years' experience in the finance industry, having started at Standard Life Head Office as Team Manager within the pensions area, moving to St Albans and working for an Employee Benefits firm as Client Manager to a wide sector of employers, retail, banks, architects and engineers before joining PFM.
When she is not in the office, Yvonne enjoys family life, the gym and walking her dog.

Nick Shuttleworth, Paraplanner
AFPS Certs CI (MP & ER), BSc Hons, PGCE Maths
With twenty-three years' experience in financial services, Nick specialises in cashflows and holistic financial planning. Prior to joining PFM, Nick worked as a Mortgage Broker and Adviser at MRIB Ltd.
He has been an on-call firefighter for twenty years and trained as a maths teacher before moving to finance. He enjoys travel, sports and is a keen motorcyclist.

Duncan Horner, Financial Planning Director
Chartered Financial Planner, FPFS, Investment Management Certificate
Duncan has twenty-five years' experience in the financial services industry, working as a partner at Towry for ten years prior to joining PFM. As a Director of the business, he works closely with our individual and corporate clients. Duncan has a wealth of experience advising corporations, business owners, private individuals and trustees on all areas of financial planning.
Outside of work, Duncan enjoys spending time with his family and the odd game of golf having ‘retired’ from team sports many years ago!

Melanie Kingston, Administrator
Working towards diploma status, Advanced BTEC in Training & Development Needs
Melanie is an administrator for Duncan and has thirty-three years' experience in financial services, working for Prudential and Origen Financial Services before PFM.
Outside of work, Melanie is a member of the committee for a local charity that funds research into pediatric brain tumors.

Duncan Todd, Chartered Financial Planner
FPFS
Duncan has eighteen years' experience in financial services, having started his financial services career in 2003 with Legal and General. Prior to joining Premier in 2016, Duncan was a Paraplanner at The Jelf Group and Bellpenny. He studied Business with Finance at University in Cardiff and his main areas of expertise are in cashflow modelling and pensions.
Outside work, Duncan is married with two children and enjoys watching or playing sport as well as spending time with his family.



Claire Furnell, Trainee Paraplanner
DipPFS
Claire works closely with Duncan and is working towards becoming a qualified Paraplanner. She has seven years of experience in financial services and worked at St. James Place before joining PFM.
When she is not in the office, Claire enjoys running, paddle boarding, and walking her Dalmatian.

Ben Mussell, Paraplanner
DipPFS
Ben works with Steven as a paraplanner, contributing to the delivery of our financial planning service. He is currently working towards achieving Chartered status. Prior to PFM, he worked at two other IFAs in paraplanning roles.
When he is not in the office, Ben enjoys football, badminton, snooker and cooking.

Steven Smith, Chartered Financial Planner
FPFS
With almost two decades' experience in the finance industry, Steven provides individual and corporate clients with holistic planning advice with qualifications in pension transfers and long term care. He is a strong advocate of lifetime cashflow modelling to project finances for life.
Away from the office, Steven is very sporty. He has represented Great Britain in triathlon, completed the Paris-Brest-Paris endurance cycle in 2015 and pedaled from Land’s End to John O'Groats in 2018 with colleague Gerry Twardzik. If he isn't swimming, biking or running he is either cleaning his bike or eating any cake he can get his hands on.

Jonty Rider, Chartered Financial Planner, Mortgage Adviser
FPFS, Cert SMP
Jonty studied Finance and Investment Banking at Reading University and worked in an IFA advising private clients before joining PFM in 2018. He has eight years' experience in financial services and works as a mortgage and equity release specialist at PFM alongside advising private clients.
Away from the office Jonty is a keen hockey player for Sonning Hockey Club, captaining their Men’s 1s team. He also umpires for both Sonning and Berkshire County on a regular basis.

Rahul Kapur, Administrator
Masters in Business Administration
Rahul has worked in the finance industry for over half a decade, working in a supportive administration role for Jonty and Steven. His areas of interest are trading and investments, and his previous experience includes working for a pensions trustee and a private equity firm.
Away from the office, Rahul is a keen musician playing a number of instruments.

Stewart Housden, Client Services Manager
Cert CII, Cert PFS, PMI Certificate in Pensions Automatic Enrollment
Stewart has forty-three years' experience in financial services. He joined Premier Financial Management in March 2016 and has been in the Banking and Financial Services sector since 1978. His area of expertise is Employee Benefits.
Outside of work, Stewart is a keen quizzer, his quiz team funding regular trips abroad from their winnings.

Joe Howard, Head of Employee Benefits
Chartered Financial Planner, IMC, BA
Joe looks after the Employee Benefits team at PFM, overseeing all of the advice and administrative support we give to our corporate clients. Prior to joining PFM, Joe worked for 17 years as Head of Corporate Clients at a wealth management firm in Oxfordshire and, more recently at a City-based investment house.
He has provided advice to high net worth individuals, business owners, HR and Finance teams, and pension trustee boards for nearly two decades.
Outside the office Joe enjoys running, skiing and cycling, but his real passion is travel.
Kate Maisey, Employee Benefits Associate
Kate looks after Employee Benefits clients, completing renewals and answering day-to-day queries, specialising in group risk. She has fifteen years' experience in the finance industry, having worked at Zurich for eight years, on both the individual and group risk team, then moved to Capita/Benefex where she was a client services member and leading a team and supporting a client bank alongside a consultant before joining PFM.
Outside the office, Kate enjoys spending time with family, friends and her four nieces, going away on day trips all over the country. She also enjoys a cocktail or two!


Karen works on administration for the Employee Benefits team at PFM where she has worked for nearly a decade. Prior to this she worked at the National Life Office branches, and has twenty years' experience in financial services.
Outside of the office, Karen enjoys lots of walking, baking, reading and travelling.
Karen Twardzik, Employee Benefits Associate
Certificate in Financial Planning

Sarah has been instrumental in growing a business from a staff of three to where it is now. She manages the office, oversees compliance, accounts and payroll and ensuring the smooth running of PFM. Sarah has twenty-three years' experience in the finance industry, prior to which she worked in Airport and Airfield Operations at Heathrow, Gatwick and Aberdeen airports. She also has a PhD in Marine Biology.
When she is not in the office, Sarah enjoys all things netball as a player, an umpire and a Technical Official - she has been selected to be a Technical Official at the Commonwealth Games 2022! She is also a coastal gig rower and an avid reader.
